Apple is finally ready to give music fans a killer year deal on the Apple Music streaming service with an all-new option that lets you pay for a full year’s subscription at a discounted rate.
If you’re currently subscribed to Apple Music you likely pay either $ 9.99 per month for an individual plan or $ 14.99 per month for families. Now that iOS 11 is bringing big changes to the iPhone, it appears that Apple has added a new option that gives you a 12 month subscription for just $ 99.99.
Getting the annual subscription rate isn’t easy though. Apple has buried the option deep in its settings menus. Unfortunately, the annual rate is only available for Apple Music users who already have a current subscription, so if you want the $ 99 per year rate, you’ll have to sign up at the normal $ 9.99 rate first and then switch the next month.
Switching to the annual subscription option will save you about 17.5 percent per year if you plan on being an Apple Music subscriber indefinitely.
To access the $ 99 subscription rate follow these steps:
1 – Open the App Store app on your iPhone.
2 – Scroll to the bottom of the Featured tab.
3 – Tap your Apple ID.
4 – Enter your password.
5 – Select “View Apple ID.”
6 – Tap on the Subscriptions button.
7 – Choose the price option you want.
