The latest rumor on the iPhone 8 centers around leaked images showing Touch ID being moved to the back of the iPhone 8.
Talk has it that Apple could reposition Touch ID on the upcoming iPhone 8, recently some images were leaked showing diagrams of the Touch ID on the back of what could be the upcoming iPhone 8.
CLSA analysts Sebastin Hou and Brian Chen created a sketch image showing Touch ID on the back of the iPhone, it seems by the diagram that if by chance this sketch is correct, Apple will place the Touch ID slightly below the Apple logo on the iPhone. The reason for this change could be because talk has it that the iPhone 8 might be equipped with a larger edge to edge screen, and rumor has it that at least one of the iPhone 8 prototypes will have rear Touch ID. Another rumor regarding the iPhone 8 and its back design has to do with the type of material which could be used, some believe Apple could use a metal type of material on the back instead of glass which is more prone to shattering. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities believes there could be more of a shortage on the upcoming iPhone this year, than previous years.
