The event will feature live music, food and craft vendors, demonstrations and children’s activities. Tickets are $10. Children 3 and younger are admitted free. Family passes are available for $25. No one will be turned away, and cash donations in any amount will be accepted. Monetary donations and non-perishable items for the Bemidji Community Food Shelf also will be accepted at the door.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.appleblossomvillage.org/music-cultural-fest or at the gate. Attendees can present online purchase confirmation emails at the gate for entry.
The event will help fund Apple Blossom Village School programs. Remaining funds will be used toward adding a seating area in the shared outdoor space at Rail River Folk School.
Water will be provided by Culligan, and the Bemidji Area Indian Center will serve a walleye dinner for $10 per plate, with proceeds benefiting their nonprofit programs. Other food vendors registered are Asian Creations and Wildflower Farms.
Operated by teachers Dacia Dauner and Sarah Wilson, Apple Blossom Village School offers Waldorf inspired programming for children K-5, summer camps and family festivals. The school provides families with programs and experiences that are rich in natural learning, imagination and creativity, according to a press release.
